I know that most Americans would not rank cricket as one of their favorite sports. Heck, I think most Americans are not quite sure what cricket is, other than it being loosely related to baseball (make that very loosely) and that it uses funny shaped bats. But outside of the U.S. cricket is a very popular sport, and in India cricket is more popular than any other sport. Nimbus Sports has media operations in over 60 countries, and runs the Neo Sports TV channel with millions of viewers in India. To make following cricket more interactive and personal, Adobe India partnered with Nimbus Sports to create Cricket Center*, an AIR powered desktop app that allows cricket lovers to watch obtain match details, access live scorecards, obtain player stats, and more. 10+ Free Alternatives (Softwares) To Adobe Photoshop
At the point this article was created, Adobe Photoshop CS3 still cost about USD $649 per copy. I think it’s safe to say that not everyone will afford to get a copy or willing to get a copy if all one need to do is just basic image editing stuff. That’s probably one of the main reason why there’s still a fairly large crowd out there actively looking for free alternatives to Photoshop to help them in their daily basic design jobs. If you are not going into advance image editing, you should know that there’s always free softwares out there capable to perform what Photoshop can.
There’s also free web services that allows you to perform basic image editing online. Here’s few examples I’ve previously mentioned in this blog:
